Badaun Municipal Corporation has one of the strongest roadway transport system in eastern Uttar Pradesh as four Uttar Pradesh state highways runs in all the four sides of the city connecting each and every locality of Badaun namely UP SH 18, UP SH 33, UP SH 43 and UP SH 51.The highways UP SH 18 and UP SH 51 terminate their 172.66 km and 232.32 km length journeys in Badaun city at Loda Bahedi locality where they also gets connected with UP SH 33. The UP SH 18 with route name Meerut to Badaun Marg road links Badaun city with major destinations like Meerut, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr. The neighbouring localities the UP SH 18 connects Badaun are Gunaura Vajidpur, Khivali, Baramal Dev, Ujhani, Hajrat Ganj, Tigora Isapur and many more. The UP SH 51 links Badaun with its neighbouring localities of Gang Chaura, Gurai, Baramay Khera, Kadhauli, Jahanabad, Nizampur, Sateti Patti Inchha, Siddhpur Chitrasen, Bain and many more.
The UP SH 33 enters the city is Arifpur Navada locality along with UP SH 43 and both the highways runs together in Badaun crossing Krishna Park, Professor Colony, Vijay Nagar Colony, Molvi Tolva, Patiyali Sarai, Bada Bazaar and then splits up in different directions. The UP SH 33 reaches Loda Bahedi locality and get linked with UP SH 18 & UP SH 51 and finally exits from Badaun.
The UP SH 33 with route name Pilibhit to Bareilly to Mathura to Bharatpur Marg road links Badaun with the adjacent districts of Pilibhit, Bareilly, Kasganj, Hathras and Mathura. The neighbouring localities the UP SH 33 links Badaun are Vanasthali Gyanpith, Gunaura Vajidpur, Sirsauli, Jirauli, Khivali, Baramal Dev, Ujhani and many more.
The UP SH 43 upon splitting up with UP SH 33 runs through Shastri Nagar, Avas Vikas Colony, Mauzampur Nehnagar, Narau Khurd, Narau Buzurg, Padaua and leave the city finally. The UP SH 43 has the route name Farrukhabad to Badaun Marg road as it connects both the district through Farrukhabad, Badaun and Shahjahanpur cities. The neighbouring localities the UP SH 43 links Badaun city are Kulchaura, Manpur Kulchaura, Rasoolpur Bilhari, Sadulla Ganj, Unaola, Rupapur, Jhandpur, Islam Ganj, Jakheli, Surajpur, Kuthia, Badi Kharkholi, Kharkhauli Khurd and many more.

Railways in Badaun
The Badaun railway station in the city with the station code “BEM” operates passenger and express trains to many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Badaun railway line lies on the important Mathura to Lalkuan railway line. The station operates under the North Eastern railway zone in the Izzat Nagar railway Division. The station has two platforms and it is elevated at a height of 173 meters above sea level. The station operates trains to many important cities in Uttar Pradesh like Bareilly, Kasganj, Aishbagh, Philibhit, Gonda and in Uttarakhand it connects Tanakpur, Lal Kuan and many others. Many passenger trains and two express trains halt in Badaun railway station. The railway line from Badaun railway station re not completely metre guage through the process of converting the railway lines to meter guage has started from 1996 itself but has over delayed in work completion. The railway ministry is also considering a railway line connecting Manipuri and Gajraula making Badaun railway station as its junction.
